Parklife
Parklife celebrated the stories of local people who live and work around Peel Street park in a new and unique photography exhibition displayed in the heart of the community.
Volunteers and the local people have been working together since 2019 and Parklife was the next exciting step in that journey.
Commissioned by Absolutely Cultured, local photographer Sergej Komkov worked with volunteers to interview and photograph the people and places of Peel Street Park, capturing its fascinating story.
Stories from the Shires
Stories from the Shires celebrated the stories of local people who lived and work around the Shires area of Gipsyville through an exciting soundscape which was played at the heart of the community.
Commissioned by Absolutely Cultured, local artist Andy Pea and sound artists The Broken Orchestra worked with volunteers to interview and record the fascinating stories of local people.
