Freelance Consultant and Creative Producer Deb Ashby lead this free session to advise on applications for Arts Council England under £15k Project Grants.
Her previous seven ACE Project Grants applications were all successful in raising £131k, so she answered some burning questions and shared what you need to make your application really shine.
In this session Deb :
- Demystified the language and gave her top tips on how to write an Arts Council England Project Grant application for under £15k;
- Gave insight into what to consider, including how to respond to the Arts Council’s temporary priorities and equality objectives (July 2020 – April 2021);
- Introduced the differences between under and over £15k applications and developing your creative practice.
This session was for anyone who wants to learn more about Arts Council under £15k bids; whether an individual artist or part of an organisation, a theatre-maker, dancer or visual artist, those brand new to the fundraising process or just looking to add a bit of extra sparkle to a nearly completed bid.
Formerly Director of Dance Manchester and having worked with organisations such as the Southbank Centre and Burnley Youth Theatre, more recently Deb has been valuable asset in the Hull performing arts sector, offering bespoke advice and consultancy to local artists and organisations as part of Absolutely Cultured’s HIPI programme throughout 2019.
This is a digital event took place on Zoom.
