Walk of Art HU5

Walk of Art is a one-day event designed to showcase and sell artists’ work. The first event was in 2017 to coincide with the UK City of Culture year.

Using residents’ homes (restrictions permitting), gardens, forecourts and garages as exhibition space, Walk of Art will exhibit work by local artists and creators in various media, such as paintings, pottery, textiles, jewellery, photography.

The invitation for participating artists, is usually from within the wider HU5 area. There is always a friendly atmosphere, and this event is accessible to all.

Over 30 artists showcase their work each year, and there’s hope to expand the event in future years.
