We need to raise funds and generate over £1m every year to deliver our bold and diverse programme. We’ve been fortunate to receive support from a wide range of local and national businesses and organisations over the years. From those who signed up to the Bid Angels programme in 2016 to support our bid to become UK City of Culture to our recent partnerships with Yorkshire Water/Living With Water and the University of Hull on the FloodLights project.
These partnerships are invaluable to us as they support our ambition to ensure the people of Hull continue to have high quality cultural experiences at every stage of their lives. We take a broad approach to partnerships and find that the most rewarding ones are where all parties bring their skills, knowledge and experience to enhance the project.
Every relationship is unique, but some of the ways businesses and organisations work with us and support us are:
For organisations who believe in the value and impact of arts and culture and want to see it thrive. With two tiers of annual membership offering a range of benefits, Culture Club is a straightforward way to support the broadest range of our work. More information about Culture Club is available here.
We have a small number of ways you can support specific projects or programmes of our work. These include annual sponsorship of our two exhibition spaces at Humber Street Gallery, which both come with naming rights and of INTER_CHANGE, our 12-month talent development programme that provides support and training to early career creatives.
As a charity, occasionally we rely upon the generosity of organisations who provide their skills, products, services and time to help make our projects come to life. This has included providing buildings and physical spaces for projects to take place in, construction materials, and metal fabrication. Every project is unique and has different requirements, but we frequently use the services of printers and scaffolders and have regular need for paint, wood and construction materials.
If you would like to provide one-off support, or would be interested in a longer-term relationship, please get in touch.
If you’re interested in any of the above or would like to discuss working with Absolutely Cultured in another way, please contact Matt Walton, Development Manager, at email@example.com.
