Hey, I’m Tasha Pert, Marketing and Communications Co-ordinator.
I lead on digital strategy, public relations, and marketing campaigns across Absolutely Cultured and its projects.
For five years I was part of the Universal Strategic Marketing team at Universal Music Group International, product managing and marketing catalogue releases for artists such as ABBA, Rihanna, Blink 182, Nina Simone, the Motown label and more.
Prior to this I was Editorial Assistant at PRmoment.com, an online magazine offering insights and highlighting best practice for readers interested or working in public relations.
I graduated from Southampton Solent University with a Journalism degree in 2011.
Getting Aqua’s “Barbie Girl” into the Top 30 of the Official UK Vinyl Singles Chart, twenty years after the song was originally released, is truly one of my greatest achievements.
At 17 I co-founded Sticky Shoes; a not-for-profit series of music events for all-ages that ran until 2015 in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. This community project was supported by the Youth Opportunity Fund, provided by Wakefield Council.
As someone with a Halloween birthday, I am a big fan of all things “horror” – especially movies!
