Hello, I’m Roisha Wardlaw and I’m the Learning and Participation Manager. Through my work at Absolutely Cultured I provide support for people from age 0-80+.
For 10 years I taught in a secondary school, I was part of the team that delivered Hull UK City of Culture 2017 and I have also worked at Hull Libraries developing children and young peoples’ offer. I have a master’s degree in education specialising in Educational Leadership. I am also a Clore Social Fellow and Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
My children are one of my greatest achievements, and building on the work started in 2017 to support other children and young people to access arts and culture in Hull fills me with pride. I also believe managing to keep my plants alive deserves a pat on the back.
In my personal time I like to watch foreign cinema. It’s a great window to different peoples’ stories, their culture and their surroundings.
