Launch of Hull Samaritans anniversary book LISTEN, Hull Samaritans
To celebrate 60 years of Samaritans in Hull, the charity launched an anniversary book called LISTEN – an anthology of art, design and writing, all responding to the word ‘listen’.
Contributors came from all walks of life, including work from professional artists and writers, and from the creative community in Hull and East Riding. Open this book and find something from an 8-year-old or an 80-year- old, a psychologist or a florist, a student or a professor, a politician or a Buddhist nun!
The aim was to make an inspirational and thought provoking book and to support those people in our communities who most need our help.
Proceeds from the sale of LISTEN went to Hull Samaritans, whose listening supports those in distress.
